Exploring the Tracks of Graffiti

Engel’s Green Belt was NEVER completed. Nature is still NOT a given in the city. Green elements do NOT connect naturally. People do NOT run outside, but on treadmills in the gym. Streets are frequently UNINVITING in appearance. We are NOT able to perceive the environment as a whole. LET’S CHANGE THAT! Hidden in the heart of Prague lies an untold story – a vision of urban greenery once sketched by architect Engel but never completed. The green belt was meant to link nature and the city, offering tranquility and a pathway through the urban landscape. This project seeks to breathe new life into Engel’s idea: to connect scattered islands of greenery into a continuous flow, making them accessible to people and revitalizing places and their surroundings.
