Apartment Building Krásné Březno

The apartment building in Ústí nad Labem, located in the Krásné Březno district, is part of a modern row housing development near the city park. It features a shared underground parking garage with a capacity of 66 spaces. The building, situated at the western end of the row, benefits from a third façade, providing ample natural light to the interiors. It offers a total of fifteen 4-room apartments (4+kk), six 2-room apartments (2+kk), and six studios. In my design, I incorporated the use of a now uncommon material – glass block. These blocks are used in prefabricated sections as railings for loggias and balconies on the southern side of the building. Colored glass blocks on the northern façade enhance the building’s unique appearance and emphasize its architectural character.
