Street Corner House, Prague, Podolí

The form of the building responds to the surrounding historical buildings, but it is a modern interpretation rather than copying of forms. A distinctive element is the gable, which functions as a corner dominant. The building provides a total of 16 apartments, community spaces including a greenhouse on the top floor. On the ground floor, there is a commertial space intended for a florist's shop and there are storage spaces for residents. Another distinctive element are large built-in flower beds growing out from the facade, reflecting the floral theme that accompanies the building.
