Pavlače of Bohumil Hrabal

Pavlače of Bohumil Hrabal Na Hrázi Street, located in the center of lower Libeň, will soon become part of the city's subcenter. However, it hardly meets the standards for urban living. The regular block layout here meets single- to two-story houses of a small-town or even village type. The original blocks of the Jewish ghetto, along with Bohumil Hrabal's house, were demolished in the 1980s and replaced by a metro station with an above-ground bus terminal. The transformation of the street, as well as the entire area, is therefore inevitable. The goal of this project was to analyze the potential for future development, replace the inadequate buildings on the northern side of the street with modern solutions, and honor the memory of Bohumil Hrabal.
