HIGH STŘÍŽKOV

The "Vysoký Střížkov" public space project is located in the newly built development of Prague 8, close to the metro station. The aim of the design is to create a multifunctional space for work activities and relaxation. The space is divided into two zones: edge - pavement, cycle path (marble) parking (granite) and centre - perennial beds, paved area (concrete). Each of these parts also has different trees. The edge is planted with Jinanas, the perennial beds with birch trees and between the buildings is a Sink Tree. The project also includes rainwater management which is used for irrigation of the greenery. The entire area is wheelchair accessible and safe, with an emphasis on ecology and sustainability.
