Student Housing Smíchov

The proposed student housing building is located on a corner plot in the evolving Smíchov district, blending industrial history with modern urban life. With six above-ground floors, it accommodates up to 200 students. The ground floor features commercial spaces, a café, bicycle storage, a shared dining area, and a laundry room. Two entrances from U železničního mostu and Nádražní streets ensure easy access, while the underground floor provides 32 parking spaces. Residential units of various types (for 1 to 8 occupants) are positioned along the street-facing sides, while shared spaces, including double-height kitchens on alternating floors, are oriented toward the courtyard. The courtyard is a green oasis with trees, benches, and seating, offering a quiet retreat.
