ACCOMMODATION AND BREWERY NEAR THE MONASTERY IN VILÉMOV

My task was to design accommodation for pilgrims and a small brewery along the Via Czechia Central pilgrimage route. I decided to connect these two structures to create a symbolic gateway to the baroque courtyard – the focal point of our interest. My design also aims to complete the overall layout. Both buildings respect the surrounding environment with their gabled roofs, allowing the monastery with its flat roof to stand out as the dominant feature. The windows of both structures face the courtyard, reflecting the water within, symbolizing the connection between water and beer, while also reinforcing the idea of linking other elements of this space.
