New Bulovka

The proposed public space follows the urban design project "High or Low? ", which addressed the problem of Liberecká Street in Prague's Střížkov district. A new apartment building and a square with a park are located on Zenklova Street on the site of an existing parking lot. It is the centre of one of the new centres emerging in the new urbanism. The aim of the design is to create a functional and aesthetic solution of landscaping and surfaces, to specify the selection and placement of urban furniture and to offer a pleasant environment for rest and recreation. The proposal also seeks to revitalise the site, which currently serves primarily as a transport hub, and transform it into an attractive public space for meeting and social life.
