Gorgeous Libeň

Our reflections on the area under consideration work mainly with the complementarity of individual elements. The northern diameter and axis of the street of the old Libna, the opposite wooded hills, the gates to the center of Libe0ň, the historical landmarks of the Libeň Castle, the synagogue and the gas tank, the height of Na Hájku and the lowland by the Vltava, four units of urban structures, meeting in the center of a large intersection and together resembling the shape of wings butterfly. The concept follows the track of the former railway heading to Karlín and focuses on two complementary worlds in the heart of Libeň. Each has its own local center and distinct character.
