The main task of this project was to solve the massive overtake of cars in adjacent streets and, if possible, reuse the old building located on site, which partially thanks to its elegant arched nave with lightbox belt in its center, I did. You can find anything in here from public library, theatre, workshop rooms, small coffee shop, to community garden and a parking house. The parking house is now located on the outside. It functions as a system of car lifts, a type known as carousel, with spaces to allow for the natural light to enter the interior of the building. The moving construction of those car lift is then covered by the steel structure, which also serves as a loadbearing structure of the community garden located on the top.
