Carafe with Water Glass
Annotation
The glass set of a carafe and glasses was designed not only with a focus on functionality but also to convey a symbolic and meaningful connection to the phenomenon of water. The design intertwines and complements two contrasting characteristics of water: geometric purity and organic dynamism. Thin-walled glass highlights the transparency of water, while its lightness inspires greater respect for water and its mindful consumption.
A dominant feature of the design is the interference pattern at the base, which responds to the undulating neck of the carafe. The double undulation metaphorically sets off wave mmovements on the base, where their intersections create a moiré effect. This optical phenomenon further distributes the energy of the waves, spreading it across the entire surface.
