DEER TRAIL

Emma Žatečková

Annotation

Watercourses are like blood vessels in the human body, they nourish and hydrate, without them it is impossible to keep the landscape alive. In the past, streams were straightened, deepened or fortified, so it is very difficult to find a stream in its natural state in the Czech Republic. These modifications did not avoid the source itself, which meant the destruction of river biotopes, the deterioration of self-purification of waters and the lowering of water levels in streams. Caring for springs is currently a matter mainly of protected areas, but the impacts on the landscape associated with their devastation are so great that it is necessary to transfer this care and protection wherever possible and thus help your landscape and ourselfs.
