Rest by the journey

Rest by the journey is a small building that joins the new monastery and its site, which is located closely behind the castle in Vilémov near Golčová Jeníkov. The building stands right next to the Via Czechia pilgrimage route and it´s the first thing that pilgrims come across when they arrive at the monastery site. There are 7 rooms/cells of modular size, as well as sanitary facilities and a common space with a kitchen. The house is finished with a terrace with a view of the monastery and the surrounding landscape. A path around the pond is used to connect the accommodation building with the monastery. The facade of the house is made of stone cladding, which refers to the original materials, and the house has a green roof, which, on the other hand, brings something new to the environment.
