TEMPORAL—translated as earthly, temporary, fleeting. That is exactly what we are. It seems that everything in this world is temporal, with a defined beginning and end. Except for one thing—death. Death is uniquely eternal. This uniqueness is reflected in the design of the columbarium on Šiberný vrch, where one becomes entangled in a web of cold scaffolding pipes. Yet, at the heart of the structure stands a dominant and powerful pillar housing the urn niches—a symbol of certainty within the labyrinth of construction. The same and only certainty that death represents in our lives.
