At the foot of Šiberný Hill, a man stopped his car and gazed intently at the staircase rising before him toward the sky. The carefully measured steps ascended, flanked by low walls that separated them from the surrounding landscape. He clenched a small flower in his hand, a symbol of remembrance for his sister. He hesitated. Down by the paved path, he could still feel the weight of everyday life’s bustle, but here, at the foot of the hill, a peculiar silence began.
