Foundation House for Artists

The Foundation House is located in a beautiful and quiet location - Baba settlement. This place offers a beautiful view of Prague and thus directly attracts not only artists but also tourists. I conceived the whole project as a space where people can find time for both culture and relaxation. The facade made of wooden slats hides not only a gallery, three studios and studios, but also a greenhouse and a café. From the greenhouse and café, visitors are offered a view of the aforementioned Prague panoramas, and the same view can also be enjoyed by studio tenants, ie artists using the local studios. I tried to design the exterior of the building so as not to disturb the appearance of the settlement, but at the same time not to copy the iconic buildings there.
