Recreational cottage - Hostivarska prehrada

The cottages are located on the banks of the Hostivař dam. It is a set of 4 regularly arranged cottages facing south. They are structurally designed as a wooden building with a cladding of tanned black planks. The roof is designed as a counter. The lighting of all 4 cottages is ensured by a large recessed window into the facade across the entire south. By being recessed, the space gets extended by a covered terrace for recreation with dining and possibly sun loungers. The whole building is divided into day and night part. The day part is represented by the first above-ground floor and the night part by the second above-ground floor. All 4 cottages are not so different from each other, but on the north side, on the second floor, the windows are located in a different position on the facade.
