An Artist's House
Annotation
The house for artist Milo manara is designed in a simple shape of cube. The most dominant part of the concept is a large window on the south side. Also, everybody is asking me what this yellow thing is for. It is a skylight above the atelier which brings more sunlight to the working space.
The first floor is designed as living area – living room, kitchen, dining, place to spend time and relax.
The night zone is located on the second floor – master bedroom with balcony, bathroom and atelier.
There are two main entrances – you can go straight to the living area taking a long staircase. Or you can use a small bridge and go through the hole in the roof. Tre bridge is large enough to park a car there, under the wooden roof.
