Vyšehrad - a change of perspective
Annotation
The building is designed on the very edge of Vyšehrad. The location offers a view of the cathedral from a slightly different angle and when the observer looks the other way, he is looking at Prague.
The design plays a lot with space, especially vertically, as there are three floors. First impressions can be slightly unpleasant, as the building tries to evoke a sense of compression, which then results in decompression in the form of the first view of the river and the undeveloped part of Prague.
The second connecting floor evokes a similar sensation, in that the view of Prague Castle is gradually revealed to the observer as they climb the stairs.
The last floor of the building offers a view of Vyšehrad, which is the closest, but we only get a view of it at the end.
