THE VANNKOS SHIP WORKSHOP

THE VANNKOS (norwegian for water coziness) ship workshop represents a combination of practicality and simplicity. The goal of the concept is to connect everyday work activity with a pleasant sunny space, which will simply elevate the purpose of the workshop. I designed the building on the sloping terrain at the bank of the river Vltava, which respects the original landscape relief. The division of spaces is based on this idea – on the ground floor of the building, the person concerned can enter the large lighted workshop area, and the living area is located on the underground floor.
