Climate change brings a host of negative impacts. For me, the most critical of these is global warming and, specifically, the melting of glaciers. The melting of glaciers brings about a certain kind of loss—loss of habitats, loss of nature. However, this loss does not happen overnight; it is the result of a long and intricate journey. This journey toward loss can prompt us to reflect on the situation we face. We must not forget that there is always a glimmer of hope. What we lack is the will and determination to confront these challenges and prevent this potential loss. My pavilion is almost entirely embedded in the ground—it gradually disappears beneath the earth. Visitors have the opportunity to walk through the pavilion along a path that ultimately leads to hope.
