The exhibition pavilion in Stromovka.

This gallery is dedicated to the painter Toyen and her series Střelnice (Shooting Range). At first glance, one is certainly struck by the shed roof and the façade with several circular openings. The series of 12 small and quite similar images are placed in their small boxes, reminiscent of a shooting range environment. All it takes is to approach and aim your gaze. One might feel confined by the small space or the image itself. This feeling contrasts completely with the surrounding environment of Stromovka park. A view of it is offered through a large window in the shape of a target at the very end of the gallery. Just aim your gaze and enjoy the nature. Each image has its place; they are all equally important, and each offers the viewer the same amount of space to examine it.
