Kamil Linhart's Lookout is situated near the Kamil Linhart's hiking trail, named after the author of hiking guides for the surrounding hills, on an elevated site at the outskirts of the city of Banská Bystrica. It is intended as a viewpoint for passing tourists, cyclists, local visitors, and all nature enthusiasts.
The lookout's floor plan is designed as an equilateral triangle with an internal side length of 3 meters. Each level of the structure provides access to a balcony offering a unique view: one toward the city of Banská Bystrica, another toward the ridges of the Low Tatras, and the third toward the Kremnica Mountains, with the possibility of enjoying a sunset. The highest point of the lookout offers a panoramic view of the entire surrounding area.
