The project aims to develop tools and procedures, which can be used for evaluating neighbourhood potentials in terms of spatial accessibility to basic activities of city residents. The tools and procedures will be developed by analysing of existing urban neighbourhoods. The basic parameters are evaluated, such as the availability of the edge of town and of the town center, public transport and public facilities in the district. In a more detailed scale will be checked real needs of city residents and their travel habits. Synthesis of the data and their statistical processing will lead to the formulation of general conclusions that can be applied when designing new development sites. Likewise, it will be tested different evaluation tools using different scales, which can then be used in practice.
