HAVLÍČKŮV BROD

The diploma project is concerned with Haberská pathway, going in Havlíčkův Brod (Havlíček´s Ford) In history, it determined the origin of the city, today it is a half-forgotten history, a footpath, a street, a road without continuity. The centric city has a cross in it. The east-west axis of the area is the river Sázava, the north-south axis is the Haberská pathway and the point of intersection is BROD(FORD) - an invisible underwater trail in the riverbed. Important points of public life emerge on the trail line, defining the basic identity of the city. Cities created by the need to cross the river.
