BIRTH CENTER IN LIBEREC

The work deals with the currently increasingly discussed topic of the birth center. The aim was to design a birth center in the Czech conditions based on the obtained data and thus create a pleasant place for childbirth, which will offer a safe compromise between the sterile environment of the hospital and the risky comfort of home. The building also offers space for a wide range of antenatal and postnatal activities and community function. A plot of land in the immediate vicinity of the Regional Hospital in Liberec was chosen for the design.
