Meditation tower

The Iron Curtain, a boundary dividing Europe into two separate areas, became physical barrier of fences, walls, minefields, and watchtowers - “Špačkárny” - some of them are still preserved in Czech landscape. We use the old construction to design new function in the landscape of Czech borderland. My project is a monument of Iron Curtain, meanwhile it leads the visitor to rediscover value of freedom by meditating on the history.
