What exactly are wetlands?
Many people may think of swamps, marshes, bogs and peatlands but not many of us probably realize that they are very exceptional areas.
Wetlands are important because they protect and improve water quality, provide fish and wildlife habitats, store floodwaters and maintain surface water flow during dry periods.
They are considered the most biologically diverse of all ecosystems.
The project deals with collecting rainwater from roofs of the future Rohan City development and flood control.
