ART GARDEN SUCHDOL

The proposal concerns a revitalization plan in Prague 6 - Suchdol. The building is marked as a so-called farm building. However, it has been used as a storage space for many years. I offer a new functional use in the form of a small cultural center. I expand the small usable area with a glass walkway, which represents works of art. It also serves as an entrance hall. Then the visitor enters the main exhibition hall, where the baroque vaults are preserved. On the second floor, there are small apartments that are used for visiting artists. The entrance is made with two outdoor staircases along the glass corridor, which also creates a terrace for the residents. The new function responds to the surroundings - the cultural facility follows the operation of the restaurant and relax center.
