The residential building Across the railways was designed as part of a complex of buildings in the area of the Vršovice train station, which is a few minutes from the centre of Prague. Facing the tracks, the building is designed to mitigate the noise caused by the passing trains. Towards the railway there are galleries that reflect the bustle of the railway. Thanks to its functional movable design, the façade allows for at least partial noise mitigation. The ground floor facing the railway contains not only commercial space but also a lounge and a large multifunctional workshop which is suitable for various events. The apartments on the remaining five floors are filled with natural light. The inner courtyard is designed to accommodate greenery, enhancing the overall environment.
