Český Brod: náměstí Arnošta z Pardubic

Český Brod was an important market town in the past, and it still retains a number of significant historical traces. However, social life, which should take place in the very heart of the city, its historical center, was forced to give way to automobile traffic. It significantly influenced the shape of the two squares, Husovo náměstí and náměstí Arnošta z Pardubice, fragmented their area and gave them the function of a street rather than an important public space of the square. The goal of the proposal is to restore the space to its meaning, to create a unified and pleasant space that invites you to spend a pleasant day in the shade of old lime trees and medieval buildings.
