under the lime trees

The studio's assignment was Engel's green belt, stretching from Stromovka to Hradčany. The small park in Roosevelt Street in Bubenec does not fit directly into the belt, although it is also Engel's design and is located in close proximity to it. Compared to the belt, it is not a place for passing through or too green. On the other hand, it has the potential to be a combination of small urban park and square, an ideal meeting place for the surrounding area, with the possibility to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. The proposed park is divided into several sections that will offer space just for the different needs of the incomers. In my design, I tried to preserve the unique atmosphere of the place, created mainly by the interconnected canopy of lime trees.
