Reception centre for parents with kids

The design of the Reception centre for parents with children is located inside the inner block of Prague's Žižkov, where the Biskupcova garage currently stands. Underground parking is also part of the proposal, with the aim of keeping a sufficient number of cars off the adjacent streets. A prominent element of the asylum, as the above-ground part of the building, are the vertical blocks with staircases, which hold together and define the residential part of the house with the individual apartments, which unite the pavilions. Pavlačka are intended to serve as a meeting place for those staying, as a space where they can relax and meet other people in a similar life situation. The proposal aims to provide temporary housing with a degree of privacy, but also socialization.
