Annotation
Life on a busy street, on a site between the boulevard and the cemetery. A core with two flats per floor, with access through conservatories that are a little bit outside, a little bit inside. Conservatories serves as a fore-space, soundproofing the main living room from the bustle of the street, while having the potential of a quiet, pleasantly cool space in the canopy of the future tree lines of Olšanská Street. They define the grid, the character of the whole building. The cleanliness of the façade is intended to highlight the filling of the flats, they project how people live and it is the life that completes the appearance of the whole façade. It adds color to it, it tells the neighborhood, here live people. Especially at night. They're like lanterns. Lanterns of life.
