The Stones of prayer

The monastery is situated in the village of Vilémov, adjacent to the local pool. It is designed to accommodate a small community of Benedictine monks. The central structures of the monastery, including the chapel, the convent, and the library, rise above the ground as a cohesive monolithic form. These are interconnected by an underground space that serves as the cloister. At the heart of the monastery lies the garden, offering a place of respite, a serene contrast to the built environment and fostering a deep connection with nature and tranquility.
