Paediatric palliative care is often taboo because of its emotional demands, yet it is a key part of health and social services. It aims to provide comprehensive help to children and families, both psychologically and physically. The hospice, designed in Veleslavín, will provide a peaceful environment for rest. The proposed hospice is designed so that parents return home with renewed energy. Parents can rest while the children are cared for by professionals. The building is divided into two main parts: accommodation and therapeutic. The accommodation part has facilities for siblings and working parents, relaxation areas and an equipped gym. The therapeutic wing offers services to improve mental and physical well-being. A sensory garden with rich vegetation creates a place for recharging.
