TERRA LINA

The connection of 3 adjacent spaces that are currently entirely disconnected. The park in front of the church, the enclosed garden within its grounds, and the parking lot above are situated next to each other, yet there is currently no communication or linkage between them. Additionally, the site is in relatively poor condition, giving people little reason to visit. Another issue is the overwhelming presence of cars, which currently dominate here. The design focuses on connecting these areas without erasing their distinct character and purpose. Instead, it creates opportunities for play, conversation, relax, or simply pausing to enjoy a cup of coffee. The goal was to design a place for the people of Liberec—a space they would enjoy visiting and that would hold meaning within the community.
