FROM PARKING TO LANDMARKING
Annotation
The concept of the square is a combination of a traditionally designed perimeter strip with a strictly geometric layout of surfaces and trees, which, although based on the grid, breaks up the rigidity of the pavement and divides the square into several zones. Primarily it creates an area in the middle of the square suitable for markets or other cultural events. The lower part of the square is complemented by steps due to its elevation. The area in question is designed as a shared zone, the middle of the square remains passable and the area intended for the movement of cars is marked by the absence of yellow shades in the paving. Supply access is also provided along the perimeter strip, which is wide enough to allow for servicing of buildings while not compromising restaurant garden spaces.
