Pavilion of climate change 2124 | Push the Sky Away

"Push the Sky away" puts focus on the weight of air pollution as well as fragile hope for a cleaner future. The pavilion highlights how, using matter and the play of light, we can evoke emotions which range from unease to relief or freedom. The absence of something as fundamental as fresh air in our lungs should do exactly that - frighten us. While initial fear is what sparks change, it is equally, if not more important to show hope, suggesting a path toward a better and cleaner future. The pavilion challenges us to feel the weight of our decisions, of what we have done to the sky, and to hope we can still push this future away.
