The thermals draw inspiration from local geothermal springs and highlights the beauty and tranquility of Icelandic nature. The main feature of this building is the breathtaking view of the sea. The entire building is oriented along an east-west axis to provide visitors with enchanting views of the sunset and the changing play of light through ceiling skylights. The entrance area is open, harmoniously integrated into the slope, and offers a quiet connection with the surrounding landscape. The main hall is striking in its height, with a heated pool offering an intimate view of the sea, where the pool water seemingly merges with the horizon, creating a meditative experience. The interior incorporates distinctive local elements, such as lava stone, which represents the element of fire.
