Valerio Morabito

Valerio Morabito is Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at Mediterranean University in Italy. From 2004 to 2021, he was Adjunct Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Among the many articles and books he has published, the book The City of Imagination is a collection of more than 150 drawings representing ideas of cities.

In 2022, Morabito won a fellowship at the prestigious American Academy in Rome, where he designed large drawings representing American cities. He later held exhibitions in the United States and several European countries.

He founded APScape, a small company that combines art and landscape, ecology and resilience, developing ideas for public parks, public spaces, sustainable buildings, green infrastructure and green strategies.

The title of the latest exhibition is Mr. Palomar Goes to Oslo, where Morabito explores the literature of Italano Calvino, creating maps and imaginary places of the city of Oslo.
