COMMUNITY HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY IN ČESKÝ BROD

The housing for the elderly located in the hospital complex in Český Brod is a solution that reflects the needs of the older generation. Integration, security, transparency, privacy, community. The project offers a variety of housing typologies that reflect the different preferences of seniors - smaller apartments near larger shared spaces, and larger apartments with balconies and front gardens for more privacy. It offers the opportunity for active aging in a community as well as the use of care and proximity to a day care center. The project addresses the design of the entire western part of the complex to complement the urban fabric. It introduces new spaces, buildings, functions. Lastly, the project focuses on the expansion of the existing park.
