REVITALIZATION AND EXTENSION OF PODLIPANSKÉ MUSEUM IN ČESKÝ BROD
Architecture and Urbanism, MA diploma project
Annotation
The Museum in Český Brod, Central Bohemia, was built in 1929 according to the design of the architect Antonín Balšánek. He had planned an extension, but it remained in sketches. At present, the building is largely unused and the exhibition halls are in a state of disrepair. The project renovates the existing premises, processes the completion of the areal and creates an environment for a modern exhibition and scientific institution of regional significance. It also includes a connection to the structure of city gardens.
